The Blue Shark helicopter is a NOTAR helicopter. This means it has no tail rotor, rather a directed jet thruster… and I think it looks pretty cool. The helicopter’s design style is based off an organic looking helicopter from an anime movie. The design of a fish like helicopter stuck in my mind and I felt like building something similar for you lovely folks. The helicopter does not have to have weapon pods but I included some optional rocket pods. This printable helicopter I call A-tack helicopter because I wanted the blades to spin and the best way I found to do that was using a thumb tack. The helicopter body has a hole for a standard thumb tack to hold the blades on. You can either glue them on or grab a thumb tack, just slowly poke it in the plastic and presto. Enjoy the helicopter.
