The story: "The remnants of Thyrendar lay in ruin, a graveyard of shattered stone and twisted metal. The cold darkness of the city’s catacombs wrapped around Rina like an old, familiar shroud. She had been here before, in a sense - every cursed ruin, every demon-infested lair she had cleansed over the years had led her to this moment. Her House’s slaughter at the hands of Kaldaroth’s minions had set her on this path, one lined with the bodies of the damned and the lost. But as the years passed, she began to see herself among them. The power she had taken from her foes had tainted her, turning her into something no longer fully Drow, yet not entirely demon either - a creature caught between two worlds belonging to neither. In the silence of the catacombs, she could feel Kaldaroth’s presence looming, a weight pressing down on her spirit. This was what she had trained for, what she had lived for. But as she prepared for the final confrontation, a thought gnawed at her mind: would she also be killing the last trace of her soul in killing the demon prince? The battle ahead would determine more than just Thyrendar's fate; it would decide whether she would finally break free of the darkness or succumb to it entirely." -------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't forget to hit the follow button!
