About this 3D model

This is a printer friendly updated version of the Venus Flytrap plant, modeled using TinkerCad. Just print 3 large & 2 small FlyTraps & the Pot, & glue them if desired. Use hot water or other heat source to shape the stems & traps as desired. If printed using PLA, it's shape memory effect can be demonstrated to simulate the action of the real plants, as shown in the AnimGIF at the bottom of this page. The Traps can be "trained" to open or close in response to heat. This typically requires use of boiling water so care should be taken, enjoy.
