I am always looking for a Christmas gift tag that’s a little different and so I came up with the idea of a scroll. It can either be left with the message showing or wound into the cylinder. UI printed with supports so a little cleaning up was necessary before painting. Assembly is fairly simple. I had to file the ends of the spindle a little as it had a little ridge around the end, but apart from that the fit was okay. The paper for the message should measure 14cm x 3cm and this is simply sandwiched between the 2 halves of the spindle and is held in place by the end caps. The page stops I just glued in place with a little superglue. I added a little silver screw in ring in the end cap for hanging, but is you don’t have one of these I have also included an end cap with a ring you can print. I have also included a template for the paper message if you would like to print out a message. Thank for downloading and have a wonderful Christmas.
