About this 3D model

The phrase "Mississippian culture" refers to a group of indigenous societies that flourished throughout the southern and eastern portions of what is now the United States. Known for their platform mounds, the Mississippians created urban centers and smaller villages that were loosely aligned via trade. The Mississippians had no system of writing, so much of their way of life and warfare can only be extrapolated from extant artefacts.
