The gnomes of the Whistling Woods have their hide-out deep in the trunk of an ancient oak tree. An important part of their society are the Wisebeards, their facial hair drooping to the floor, hides secrets to the arcane arts. They possess powerful magic, which they use to ward off intruders, conjure mysterious illusions and put on extraordinary displays on midsummer nights.
