About this 3D model

I really, really, wanted to have a form of the Aurora Borealis for this display, and I'm pretty happy with out it turned out. This is a fairly small display, and would need to be scaled up if you want multiple critters on it. Everything on this print is doable for a single color printer - the trees and aurora are just layer changes. I tried the aurora in a few different color schemes but translucent blue with bright green beat out the other colors. Everything on this set up needs to be glued if you want it to stay in place, except for the aurora, which slots into the back of the left mountain from the side (last picture). Print Settings: Print in Place No Supports needed 2-3 walls 5-10% infill If you have adhesion issues, try a brim, glue stick or Aquanet hairspray.
