About this 3D model

Part of Tribes and Patreon September 2025 release. https://www.patreon.com/makingtlonThis set is a bundle that contains these sets: - Town Undergrounds Modular OpenLOCK Structure - Tavern Cellar Objects & Props - Prison Dungeon Objects & Props - Cultist Chamber Objects & Props - Abandoned Cellar Objects & Props All the models are test printed and presupported when needed. Town Underground Modular Tiles - Modular, OpenLOCK tiles with which you can build any town underground or dungeon interior of bricks and wood. There are several variants for the walls, there are borders to cover the OpenLOCK mechanism as well as stairs to make the set as vertical as you want it to be! I find that 3D-ness on your battlefield adds a lot of options for strategies and general combat fun at the table (after BG3 there is no turning back!), and that's why I am trying to add that as much as I can to my terrain. There are also collapsed sections of walls in case you want to place in your dungeon a tunnel dug by a land shark or monstrous insects. Characters hired to deal with them now visibly know where they came from, but where does the tunnel lead to? Other parts of the town undergrounds? An sprawling hive? The world below? A simple feature like that can start a whole campaign :) My favorite extra for this set is the half-floors that make it possible to create complete interior balconies as well as locations with more than one levels (the prison dungeon renders show this well). They make stealth missions, for example, much more interesting! There are also Playability Split versions of the wall tiles to make them easier to use at the table and to complement the multi-layer features of these structures. As always, to support the tiles that you see floating in mid air in the render I suggest using some blocks of foam, cardboard or any other cheap volume. They are definitely less costly than printing specific supports, although you can always use spare walls (or SplitBot walls) to get the job done. Tavern Cellar Objects & Props - Shelves full of barrels, wine jugs, cheese and large hams: these models are perfect for the back room of a tavern, or its cellar. The furnished shelves are great line of sight blockers, and if the stuff on them absorbs a projectile you can go crazy with fantasy wine, beer and mead secondary effects on the battlefield. What if a fireball sets them on fire? There are also loose cauldrons, barrels and crates that you can add to basically any location. I have already made models similar to these (e.g. barrels), but there are reasons why I am making new ones of them. First, they are necessary to bring the location to life if people don't have access to the library of previous models. Second, if you do have them, I think they help with making your locations more immersive. As long as they are different at least in features, scale or texture, having extras of similar pieces adds variety - after all, especially in medieval times, stuff wouldn't be mass made in factories. And if you don't care about this much variety, just print the rest of the set :) Prison Dungeon Objects & Props - A large cage that can host 2inches wide bases and that has a magnetizable top, guard tables, prisoners' belonging chests, wardrobes full of prison stuff as well as a wide array of props for decorating objects and - especially - walls. Handcuffs, chains, balls and chains, torches, keys, and more! Cultist Chamber Objects & Props - The altar of a fiendish ritual, candles, bowls, plinths, evil-looking braziers and many runes to customize your cultist chambers. The large demonic statue is the centerpiece of this set. I wanted to make a model that has an ambiguous look: while the goat skull head gives evil and fiendish vibes, the body and pose of the demon itself are peaceful and alluring, which either makes it more uncanny or, perhaps, it shows that this cult was ultimately misunderstood. Abandoned Cellar Objects & Props - These complement the Tavern Cellar Objects & Props with ruined crates, barrels, shelves as well as piles of bones and kit-bash bricks and debris. Does your dungeon have ruined sections or rooms claimed by wild beasts? You can use these as decoration for those, and the larger furniture and bone blocks add options to combat encounter: try slamming enemies - or characters - into them for extra splinter damage! They are also useful to show which shelf (or crate, or barrel etc.) was destroyed during the fight. Just take the model that was destroyed out and put the ruined one in! I think these sets are a staple that was lacking in the library of previous releases. It has a lot of value and versatility - I for one really needed it for oneshots and early sessions of campaigns! It expands the collection of models already released, and, as always, if combined with previously release models the customization options are really endless.
