A highly detailed model of the Chinese Chengdu J10C multi role aircraft. It's story began in 1981, as China wanted to create a 3rd gen fighter. There were several designs and precursor projects before the true J10 would come to life and fly in 2002. The development was long due to many technologies had to be developed, since the aircraft was far more complex than anything that China had ever developed at the time. The J10C is thus the 3rd major upgrade/improved variant of the original J10, which received new domestic engine, AESA radar, and IIR system among other improvements.
