A high resolution 3d scan of a brass artefact. Rama is the seventh avatar of Vishnu and ideal king of the Ramayana, emblem of righteous conduct (maryada). Here he is standing upright on a lotus pedestal beneath a radiant sun-halo. The bow identifies the defender of dharma; the lotus signals purity, and the solar nimbus recalls his Suryavanshi lineage.
