So what in the world is a GEFYU? The GEFYU is one of the weirdest monsters my little 90s high school mind could come up with when I was daydreaming about movies like Independence Day, Starship Trooper, and Jurassic Park. G.E.F.Y.U. is a monster name that means Genetically Engineered to F You UP. Yeah I grew up during the heights of DOOM and the BFG. If you know you know. This is a creature that should feel like it’s straight out of one of those over-the-top retro games. There are several versions of this monster and they are all inspired by my one of my favorite artist H.R. Giger who designed the monster in the movie Alien. A GEFYU is a biomechanical, living machine, has a shell of hard as armor, a 40mm grenade round couldn’t bust, claws and or knuckles to slash or smash, and an acid cannon in its mouth. Oh yeah… and this particular model flies with small jet engines. Why create a a living creature with jet engines and a tail that can cut things in half. Why!? Because it’s creepy and weird. If you are thinking this creature is a little overpowered it’s because it’s supposed to be an overpowered world ending weapon meant to be used in swarms. However, it does have one weakness! It lives a week and then is programmed to die so whoever sent it can take over whatever is left of the planet. If you like my weird monster I have more to come. Size: Sleeping configuration: approx 80mm long, 80mm wide and 40mm Flying configuration: approx 110mm long, 90mm wide and 60mm It comes with a printable stand. You might need to do a little work with some tools to get the stand to fit nicely in the hole.
