About this 3D model
THIS MODEL IS INCLUDED WITH A SUBSCRIPTION ON OUR PATREON Prismara was born in the Kingdom of Chromatic Skies, a dimension suspended between light and mist where each creature reflects an emotion from the visible spectrum. She is one of the few dragons capable of capturing human emotions and transforming them into pure light. Guardian of the Shards of Harmony, powerful crystals charged with positive energy, Prismara ensures the balance of colors in her world. When the colors of a place fade, it's often because a Shard fragment has been lost... and Prismara is sent on a mission to find it. Her rainbow breath ? is not destructive, but regenerative: it restores radiance to tarnished landscapes, heals dark hearts, and revives forgotten imaginations. She is particularly drawn to places where children laugh and draw: where colors live, Prismara watches. ? Let's move on to the design: This Dragon was created at your request, and it's not certain that another giant dragon will see the light of day anytime soon, although we don't rule out the possibility of making another one. It is made of several parts and is modeled after the Bambulab X1C in terms of size. As a reminder, the build plates of the X1C and the A1 have the same dimensions (256x256). Each build plate has been distributed to optimize printing, but you may encounter collision issues with the purge tower, depending on where you place it, so be careful when slicing. The rings were cut with Bambu Studio, and the centering devices were also created with their software. This is why we will only offer a 3mf file for this model. Exporting the 3mf to an stl file does not take into account the negative parts of the rings (the holes) and you will have to do them manually after printing (using a Dremel for example) if you choose to convert the file. We therefore do not guarantee its correct operation. Each ring piece is carefully placed next to where it should go, so it's hard to go wrong. Please note that depending on the quality of your print and the filament chosen, adjustments may be necessary to ensure the parts are in clear contact. In some cases, small filing strokes may be necessary. Test before applying the glue to be sure. Build plates 1 and 3 do not require supports; it is your responsibility to disable them when printing these plates. The other plates will require them for better printing success. We usually do print-in-place, no-support designs, but due to its size, this is not the case for this one. Regarding print times and filament weight: Depending on your filament choices (matte, silk, basic, etc.), print times will range from 90 to over 150 hours, for a total weight of over 3 kg. This will also depend on the number of colors chosen. For example, to make the head of the one you see in the photo, it took us almost 60 hours. If you do it in one color, it will only take about 15 hours. Glue will be necessary since you will need to glue the rings together once you have finished printing all the pieces. We used cyanolite (superglue) in gel form. The particularity of this glue is that the harder you press, the more it sticks. We used 3 grams in total. It is easily found in supermarkets. One last thing: We chose to use four walls and only 5% infill to achieve the best possible strength ratio based on the size and weight of the model. However, if you want to save time, you can increase the walls to three, but you will lose strength. Don't forget to post a make?️ and give it a like ?, it makes all creators happy! Thank you ❤️ ?
