About this 3D model
Available sizes Medium – 1:35 of the actual size | Normal, Hollow & Pre-supported versions Description Gastonia burgei was a medium-sized ankylosaur dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of North America, discovered in Utah. Measuring around 5–6 meters in length, it was heavily armored with rows of bony osteoderms and large defensive spikes along its sides, offering protection against predators like Utahraptor. Unlike some later ankylosaurs, Gastonia lacked a tail club, instead relying on its extensive armor and spines for defense. It was a slow-moving herbivore, feeding on low-growing plants in its semi-arid floodplain environment. Gastonia’s discovery has provided important insights into the early evolution of ankylosaurs and their diverse adaptations for survival during the Cretaceous period.
