About this 3D model
For this sword there is room for an optional dowel that runs through the center of the entire sword. The whole sword has has space for a 3.5 foot long, 1/2 inch diameter dowel running from the base to tip of the blade. The sword is approximately 47 inches long. and is made of 11 pieces. For stability and durability, the guard is split into 4 pieces which will slot into the main body of the sword.I will include several small 3D printed rods to assist with assembly and alignment, but a dowel is highly suggested if you plan to use this actively in cosplay. As for adhesive, E6000 is available at most hardware stores, and even some craft stores. It has a long cure time, but it holds pretty well. Epoxy also works well. Superglue can work, but will not bond the pieces properly. However super glue to hold it in pace while the other adhesive cures has worked for me in the past. (Just don't mix adhesives, might be really bad)
