Mega-Flora Roots – Giant Root Terrain for Fantasy or Post-Apocalypse Four 28mm scale terrain pieces perfect for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, D&D, or other tabletop games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Solid versions suitable for FDM printing are also included. Whether journeying through the mega-forests of the post-apocalypse, or traversing the faerie realms of the Feywild, sometimes the trees get really big. Like, Really, Really Big. When you have a tree that is so huge that it holds a whole village (or a dungeon!), sometimes even the roots that stick up out the ground can become obstacles. This set of four terrain pieces provides exactly these obstacles. They are all tall and bulky enough to provide total cover, and take up different numbers of squares on the battlefield: 2x1, 3x1, 4x1, and a ‘corner’ piece that is 2x1 in two different directions. The models are provided hollow and pre-supported for resin printing, and also include settings where 38” by 3/16” barrel magnets can be mounted, allowing the roots to stick to a magnetic play surface. Solid versions that are optimized for FDM printing are also included. The Mutant Mayhem Minis line of figures was designed for Mutant Crawl Classics RPG, but also go great with DCC, Gamma World, D&D or any game that uses 28mm minis. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm Heroic scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They include Pre-supported versions and unsupported versions (in case you want to alter the size to suit your own needs). All Dark-Platypus Studios models are sculpted by sculptor Andrew K. Barlow (me), and no AI is ever involved. All models have been checked for errors and test-printed. These models were sculpted for our published adventure module, ‘THE RATS OF GIM’, which was produced via kickstarter a few years back. They were originally only available to kickstarter backers, but now are available here for 3D printing!
