About this 3D model
I have a well-used and admittedly cheap camera tripod that I use for all kinds of photography, BUT I HAVE ONLY ONE MOUNTING PLATE.- an easy problem to solve through the magic of 3D printing. Uses a 1/4- 20 screw for the camera attachment and Includes a nut trap for an adjustable/removable indexing pin - uses a 6-32 nut and slotted set screw. Fits the tripod snugly. Ambico / Velbon / Amazon house brand and possibly other inexpensive tripods. 45mm / 1-3/4 inches square dovetail design. Gonna need a couple more... UPDATE: I printed a couple more. I found that the base plate is too large to fit on the PINHE4D http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:132517 35mm 3Dprinted pinhole camera without a fiddly spacer. So, I modified the design to taper to a smaller base for tight applications. Find the alternate design in the downloads section. If there's any interest, I will make a parameterized version for similar mounts. ___ **ATTENTION** This work is licensed under the [Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial license](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/).
