Note: A new version of this QR plate (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/200pl-camera-quick-release-plate-and-receiver) is available that includes a printable reciever for a complete mounting solution. A dozen cameras, a few tripods... Never seem to have a quick release plate around when you need one! This is a design refined over a fair amount of use for the Manfrotto 200PL plate. All screws are 1/4"-20 thread and should be available at local hardware stores (in the US) or ordered on online sites like eBay for non-US makers. Fit the screw into the knob, then snap the knob into the plate. Use a 1/4" socket head cap screw, a 5/8" flat head screw, or a 1/2" pan head screw. A different knob model is provided for each different type of screw. The flat head and pan head thread into the knob, threads are printed in the model. The socket head screw presses into the knob. A small vice is useful here. The thumb wheel knob snaps into the pocket in the bottom of the plate, becoming captive. Want to adjust the design? The SCAD source is included... Have fun!
