About this 3D model
You can se some pictures, read a little and se videos of this design implemented on a CNC router here: http://nengineering.dk/cnc-machinery/cnc2014.html I made a derivative of the very nice threadless ballscrew concept from Mark Sollack. When printing the original I found that the bearings was not perfectly aligned with the smooth rod, resulting in wear on the rod. Also I wanted a travel of 10mm pr. rev, because it's easier for me to deal with. The angle of the bearings are therefore 21.7 degrees and tilted 2 degrees towards the rod to make a close to perfect alignement with the rod. The pieces are drawn from scratch and the base plate from the original does not match my design. Therefore a baseplate is also provided. Fits a 8mm smooth rod and uses 624Z bearings.
