About this 3D model
a very easy to print quadcopter. you'll need: - aluminium profile 10x10mm (I used 2x 500mm length) - KK2.0 flight controller - Q Brain 4 x 20A Brushless Quadcopter ESC 2-4S 3A SBEC - 4x Turnigy 1100KV Brushless Motors - NIMH/LiPo Battery - 4 Channel Sender/Reciever You will have to use araldite or similar glue to glue in the aluminium profiles into the base and motor mount. print with 0.8mm wall thickness, 40% infill: 2x base 4x motormount 1x controller 1x batteryholder_a 1x batteryholder_b 2x foot_30mm 2x foot_40mm Assembly as shown in build_complete.stl This is a work in progress... Detailed infos and additional parts follow... (though it is flyable as it is!) Update 1: I just added a prototype of the landing gear. the battery holder is right now fit for a 8 cell nimh battery but will soon be replaced by a lipo pack... Update 2: I added build_complete as a 3d build instruction (not meant for printing) Update 3: I wasn't happy with the motor mounts and feet so I redesigned them. Tested the quadracopter today and the flight was great! I'm quite happy with the current design but I'm waiting for my LiPo battery to arrive... The redesign also results in having to print less items.
