I fixed it. The issue with the java program I used is that it doesn't close the left and right ends properly with triangles (just uses rectangles), so add a column at each end of the same color (greyscale). Heightmap of the Venusian continent Ishtar Terra, the highest area on Venus. Distorted (though I tried to fix it by eyeball) because it was made from just cropping a global polar projection.
