About this 3D model

These are a set of side plates I designed for the Prusa Mendel to replace the 6 threaded rods and vertexes. These should make the frame more stable and easier to align. I had these Lasercut out of 6mm MDF, then I used wood glue to glue 2 pieces together to make it stronger. (2 pieces per side, 4 pieces total). I would recommend having it cut out of aluminum or 1/2" MDF if available. The dimensions are made to exactly replicate the original Prusa Mendel with 8mm threaded rods. Source code is available here: https://github.com/StephS/Prusa_Plate Update: I updated the DXF. I imported it into librecad and re-saved it to try to fix any file errors. I also increased to slot on the bottom for the Z axis support bar (so you can adjust for Z squareness)
