You can mount the sider on a tripod now and mount equipment to it. All holes for bolts and rods are tapered for easy assembly. All corners that a human hand can touch are rounded. V2: I added M5 holes at a 45° angle into the feet, so you can insert threaded rods or bolts to dynamically add longer feet when needed.
