About this 3D model
On March 10th 2013 I held my first 3D Printing Class, attended by two of my daughters, Alicia and Cara. During that we designed what Alicia had been asking for for a long time - an abacus for her doll. We figured out what size we wanted it to be, found some nails about that size, measured them, and designed and printed this abacus. I tried using the pins library from Tony Buser but it didn't work out that well - I might not have made the pins long enough. I ended up using a hot glue gun to weld the two sides of the abacus together which looked even better. If you try printing this, expect to experiment with the pins, or to use a hot glue gun.
