About this 3D model

Mars Global Surveyor sent stuff to the PDS, The Planetary Data System. The PDS and me are acquainted. Exaggeration of 7 times makes the canyons look deep. (The 2 canyon photos are not on this globe, they are close-ups at 128 data points per degree, not 4 pt/deg). The data points are 1/4 of a degree apart for longitude and latitude.
