About this 3D model

Lion-shaped tomb arches. This piece is currently incorporated into the collection of the Group of Friends of Montemor-o-Novo, in the Monastery of São Domingos in Montemor-o-Novo. Its original provenance is unknown, although most likely it comes from the Castle of Montemor-o-Novo. Its function would be to, in conjunction with another same piece that is also in the same collection, that of supporting a tombstone. Despite the animal form, this lion's smile resembles a human smile.
