About this 3D model

This is a mount for the Bulldog Lite extruder for Prusa i3 Rework Edition. It is designed to mount to the standard i3 Rework X-carriage and use the existing fan shroud. As long as you are able to move your X end stop far enough left or relocate it to the right end of the axis it retains the full build area. This mount keeps the extruder parallel to the X-axis instead of perpendicular so that the weight of the stepper is as close to the bearing rods reducing X-carriage sag. I have left the original unused mounting holes on the mount for mounting additional fans, leveling attachments, lights etc. . **06/10/14 Added a custom fan shroud for this mount for a 30mm fan and the Hexagon hot end, will also work with other similar sized hot ends** *This will also mount the Bulldog XL extruder but you will loose some print area in the X axis due to the extra length from the gearbox.
