About this 3D model

I decided to refurbish a few of my hummingbird feeders to give to my mother on Mother's Day as she is an amateur ornithologist when not saving lives, and I bought a printer to make useful things. Plus, one can never have too many feeders! The first step in the process---well, the second step after cleaning the feeders that survived the winter---was to make an ant trap/moat to keep the ants away. Drawing inspiration from the many DIY moats one may find when googling the problem, I "designed" this little thing to install on the feeders before gifting them. Why buy a bottle of water or soda when you can just as easily print the thing in biodegradable plastic? A bit of caulk or Sugru is needed to seal the hole that the feeder's wire/hanger passes through. This should keep the feeder functional, ant-free, and will additionally serve as a small bath for the little buzzers. I will post completed images tomorrow...after dark here, and the refurbished feeders are still soaking in the sink. Dimensions: x: 50mm y: 50mm z: 15mm pool/moat depth: 10mm wire/hanger hole clearance: 5mm Moving on to bee prevention!
