About this 3D model

Boost Me Thanks for your Boosts, they help drive future innovation! ? UPDATE - 01/20/2024 - Added #10 (M4.8) screw holes to Pole Mount. Can use #10 (M4.8) screws to lock pole mount onto pole. UPDATE - 01/19/2024 - Added “Roof Assembly Fixtures” to raw 3d Files section. Print two of these and they will help hold the roof assembly in place as the adhesive fully cures. See Assembly Instructions pdf download, Figure 6 A. Here is a functional traditional Bird Feeder House, that was designed to be 3d printed easily with UV resistant ASA but can be printed with any other type of filament. All parts print with minimum Z height which allows parts to be 3d printed with all types of materials and with ease. Besides needing six screws and some glue/adhesive to assemble, the Bird Feeder is all 3d printed. Most visible sides of the "Bird Feeder Parts" are or can be from the bed printed side, which allows whatever plate texture you wish, (smooth, texture, designs of any PEO, PET, PEI, PEY beds plates out there). Furthermore all files are .step files. So, adding your own custom designs and using multi-color is defiantly and option here. By setting “0” top or bottom layers and adjusting the "rectangle" infill %, you can create a breathable bottom and see through screen side panels. This allows the bird feed to stay dry and fresh. The "base" part is split into many sections for this reason. The Roof Assy is removable when the Bird Feeder is fully assembled. And a Pan Head Screw is used to lock it in place to prevent it from inertly sliding off. With this lock screw loosen, the Roof Assy will slide off and on to easily re-fill with bird feed. There are two sizes, 256x256 plate size - Can be printed on BambuLabs A1/P1/C1 printers, or any similar or larger type of printers. 300x300 plate size - Can be printed on Larger 3d Printers with print bed size 300x300 or larger. When using ASA filament (UV resistant) and stainless-steel hardware, This Bird Feeder can last and look good outside for a very long time. The bird feeder can be mounted two ways, From the base to a pole Using the 3d printed “pole mount” part, and using Bambu Studio's “add negative part” (Cylinder) tool and scaling the cylinder to the desired size (You can adjust the hole to fit your pole). Using a ¾" FIP Galvanized Pipe Floor Flange 3/4" FIP Galvanized Pipe Floor Flange at Menards® Base mounting requires the “Base” and “Pole Mount” file to be printed strong (higher infill and wall thickness) Or Hange the bird feeder via a wire or string attached to the Pan Head Screws, which screw into the roof of the bird feeder. The Part named “Roof Mount”, must be 3d printed with High infill and wall thickness, as it bears the weight of the bird feeder when hung. Enjoy!
