About this 3D model
This is a mock suppressor I designed for use in my airsoft replicas. It was originally meant to cover the outer barrel of rifle length replicas, by placing the thread close to the top of the suppressor. There are three parts to the model, top, mid and bottom. The original design has the threads near the top of the body, covering up a large portion of the outer barrel. The body of the suppressor itself acts as a reinforcment around the outer barrel to avoid braking at the threads. A later version was designed for use as a regular mock suppressor using a different bottom section that attatches at the bottom to the outer barrel. I printed both version with PLA pro from Polymaker yeilding excellent results, though PETG or ABS can be used if you prefer. To place on print bed, just drop each part to your print bed on your preffered slicer. The bottom section with threads, howerver, should be placed on the print bed with the male threads on the top. I have included the STEP file for this design as well, as well as a third version of the threaded bottom section that works as an extension in cases where you need a bit of distance from the hanguard.
