Hi all, Thank you for Looking at my UNIMOG 6500M crane. This will build you a 1/7.4th scale working RC Crane for Casadio’s Unimog Truck. This works for both 4X4 and 6X6 version No Original part modification is needed to fit this, however the current flatbed will not work - New files for the Bed are included. There is a static non RC option So if this is the case, please use the printed rams in the folder. You can easily upgrade the crane later to make it Rc very easily! The rotation of the crane still uses the main gear without the servo. The crane will need 4-5 channels depending on how you wire it. I am not showing this as it can be done many ways. Each Actuator NEEDS a PWM controller, you cannot use one controller for 2 rams. You can use a totally separate Rc controller for this or if you have enough channels for the truck go for it. I have used PETG @ 100% infill unless stated in the manual, I used Casadio’s Print settings for the gears for most of this crane as I found it to be the strongest method. Supports may be needed so check each part as you go. The parts Have been aligned for the best printing orientation but may need to be modified to fit your printer bed size. I have a Prusa Core ONE which I have used for the prototype testing model with no issues so far.
