About this 3D model

When we got our hands on these items you noticed right away the weight and metal finish. So the challenge for us was to replicate that intricacy. We sliced the items in multiple pieces, 3D printed on a Makerbot Replicator 2, glued together, sanded down and a layer of self leveling epoxy that smooths out the whole surface. Once they dried, we finished with a metallic paint.
