About this 3D model

This is a small statue of Asclepius, the god of healing, with the boy Telesphorus by his side. Thought to be from Greece and formerly in the collection of Viscount Strangford. The marble sculpture is set on a round funerary altar from Knidos with two Greek inscriptions. This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
