About this 3D model

This was a gift I put together as an aniversary gift for my parter. The whole object is made up of 5 printed parts, 1x Frame, 1x Backing, 2x Stands, and a lithophane photo of your choosing. I have not included the photo I used, however there a plenty of free methods of creating lithophane STLs from your own photos (I used Cura). I used a white frame around the photo which was 2.5mm top and bottom and 4.5mm on either side. The base which the photo was rasied off was 0.9mm. The photo inside this frame is 80mm by 116mm. Using these measurements when creating the lithophane will ensure the created STL will fit in this particular frame. If you wish I can also create custom sided frames to a photo of your choosing for a small fee, and send the altered STLs directly to you. This was designed to house LED strips behind the image to light it up from the inside, and is deisned so that the power cable from the lights can pass through a hole in the bck, and run through a track I used 3 short strips wired together in warm white, however you can also used dimmable and RGB strips should you wish to have more contol over the color and brightness. There is also a hole suitable for a hook or nail, should you wish to hand this on the wall. I have designed this object completely from scratch, however the credit for the frame stand file goes to Peter Lachman, and his design on thingiverse, found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:619259 Print settings: All with 0.2 layer height, 0.3 initial layer. Frame: 100% infill Backing: 20% infill with 1.2mm thick walls, 1.2 thick top and bottom (allows light to shine through, creating the backlight) Lithophane: 100% infill Supports: 100% infilll
