About this 3D model

This is a tripod mount for the iPhone 6 series. It will hold either the 6 or 6+ (haven't had access to a 7 yet, if someone tries it please let me know). This model is just the mount on top of the tripod, not the tripod itself. Uses the following parts which can be purchased from McMaster-Carr: M4 hex nut M4 thumb screw 3/8"-16" hex nut Assembly Print with your preferred filament (pictured in black eSun Filament PETG) Press the M4 hex nut into the hex hole in the inner body (I find it easiest to screw the nut onto the thumb screw and use that to press it in) Press the 3/8"-16" hex nut into the hex hole on the bottom of the outer body (this will attach to your tripod) Slide the inner body into the outer body, push the thumb screw through and screw into the M4 hex nut in the inner body Open it wide and set your phone into the bottom clamp, then close the top clamp onto the phone and tighten the thumb screw Good luck!
