About this 3D model
The C15TA armoured truck was developed by General Motors Canada along a concept lines of the American M3 scout car. The vehicle used the chassis of the Chevrolet C15 Canadian Military Pattern truck design. Between 1943 and 1945 a total of 3,961 units were built. The C15 TA provided armoured transport for the Canadian forces in the 1944-1945 liberation of the low countries. Post-war, it service in many European armies, and saw combat duty in Vietnam, Malaya, and in the conflicts of the African colonies of Portugal. The pintle mounted MMG is added to represent the fact that post war, these vehicles weer armed, while in WW2 it was not common for any armament to be fitted. This STL pack includes separate file for both FDM and for resin printing. It alos includes an optional tarp cover file.
