M3 half track is much more attractive in version 3, given its reduced cost, the ability to carry up to 12 troops, coupled with its standard armament of an HMG, which now has a 48” range. The option of adding MMGs for extra points is a costly proposition, point wise, but may still appeal to some if it remains available in their selector or choice. The M3 half-track served in the armies of many allied in WW2 - namely the Americans, the British Commonwealth, and the Soviet Union. I did two separate designs – one for resin printing and one for FDM printing, with separate pieces for the front roller, front axle and HMG pulpit. This ensures the FDM hull has maximum contact with the build plate. The FDM model has some parts simplified and thickened, to address the nature of FDM printing. These models are designed for tabletop gaming, so please don’t anticipate diorama level detail. Both the resin and FDM files have their own HGM and MMG files. The resin model has a driver figure. There are numerous options from third party model makers for driver figures and pintle weapons, should those printing in FDM want more detailed weapons than one can get from FDM. The files include all the files- those for FDM, resin, and resin pre-supported files.
