About this 3D model

This design was created for the 3D Printing Industry Awards. The Trophy is three boxes which represents the ordinary thoughts and ideas of an average person. Coming out of the bottom box is the spiral lightbulb shape. This represents the thought of the maker which is out of the ordinary. The light bulb show the thought and work that went into the work. Printing the bulb around the ordinary boxes pushes the limits of 3D (FDM) printing. The Design is has elegant smooth spiral look and sharp edged of the box.
