About this 3D model

A good friend of my wife and I, Beth, is fighting aggressive cancer. Her husband Marc, after seeing the "Geared Heart, Hand Cranked Edition", asked my wife if I could make her an OSU (Oklahoma State University, her Alma Mater) colors version of the "Geared Heart, Hand Cranked Edition" that was easier for her to hold. This is the "Base.stl" version. There is also a "Base Tall.stl" version that doubles the height of the base for those needing an extending grip area. The difference between this version and the previous is the base is now cylindrical, and the handle is now a wheel with an attached knob, making it easier to hold and turn for those with a weakened grip. We hope she gets well soon. Designed using Sketchup 8 and printed in PLA on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using Makerware 2.3.3.42.
