About this 3D model
Have you not heard? It was my understanding that everyone had heard the news about a certain new ornithological 3D print. A camera accesory of certain avian variety. Birdie is a set composed by a camera case and holders for your Mokacam. It looks great if you put it on your desktop, or hook it to a branch or lamp. You can choose thanks to the interchangeable legs, with even more option coming in the future! Press Birdie's crest to take a photo or use the ports and buttons, as those are not disrupted by the case. For further customization, you can print different parts using different colours! Want a Twitter look for your #tweetpics? A parakeet or a parrot for summer could be great! Or maybe a surveillance raven? You will not run out of ideas again, nevermore! You can take a look at the pictures for assembly instructions. In written form, you just have to: - Print all the parts.- Mount Birdie's beak (drop some glue if you want better results).- Insert the Mokacam into Birdie's frame.- Use the printed nut to hold a leg.- Tighten the nut so Birdie can grip the camera. Supports are required, but I embedded my own which give a very good result at 0.15mm layer height.Of course, there's also a clean version so you can use your own. Now, smile and look at the birdie! *shutter*
