A single bed printable light for the Bambu X1-Series. Easily mounted and held in place using the lid's handle. Yes, this is Yet another model for a additional light for the Bambu X1-Series. I opted to design one myself as I found none that suited me. As I don't use my AMS on top of the printer, nor like the look of raising the glass lid on the printer. I also still wanted to easily be able to remove the lid, without the lid sliding around. Hence I came up with this design. I wanted to avoid printing in multiple pieces. So I kept it's size to be able to print on a single Bambu print bed. It's held in place using the existing handle for the lid. Simply screw it off, slide it in this print and mount it again. It's designed around 8mm COB led strips, with corner connection pieces for the strip. The channel for the LED strip is 10mm wide, and 5mm deep, so should fit a majority of LED strips. As it's designed to be on top of the printer, I would reccomend using ABS, PETG or ASA. Reccomended to print with supports. Although the gap should be bridgeable depending on your fillament. A second source has been uploaded which prints the other way around for textured beds, and needs much less supports. Open for feedback!
