About this 3D model

Weigele was born in Germany and worked in Paris from 1877 as a decorative sculptor and bust-maker. Polychromy, or the use of mixed materials in sculpture, had been practised in France since Charles Cordier in the 1850s and had its origins in the multicoloured marble busts of Imperial Roman sculpture.
