The yōkai Kasa-obake, or karaKasa-obake, is a type of obake or tsukumogami that arises when an old umbrella comes to life. It is generally depicted with a single eye, one leg, and a long, dangling tongue. It is considered more of a prankster than a malevolent spirit; it enjoys scaring or licking humans, but rarely harms them. The figure is divided into pieces for easier printing and is scaled to match the rest of the yokai collection.
