Another niche art item. While creating art I often need strips of tape that are exactly 1/16" or 1/8" or ¼" (etc.) wide. While I could pull out a cutting mat and a ruler to do it, I wanted a quicker, easier option. This simple jig has cutting channels at 1/16" increments, at the top, and at the bottom. Lightly running a blade down a vertical cutting channel creates a strip of the desired width. Cutting at the horizontal top and the bottom makes those strips 6". Works both left-handed and right-handed.
