About this 3D model

This thoracic vertebra from a deer was scanned in the Virtual Curation Laboratory using a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner. This vertebra was on loan from the Fort Lee Regional Archaeological Curation Facility (RACF) to aid in the development of a digital zooarchaeological type collection, and for replication to be used in research, outreach, and teaching. This vertebra was found on the surface and is not archaeological in nature. It has been affected by its exposure to the elements. Courtesy of Fort Lee RACF.
