About this 3D model
Update March 12: Turns out the original model had the bridge misaligned, resulting in the strings not being parallel with the guitar neck. Here are your options going forward: Download trudslev's remix of this remix (sic) which corrects this problem (bonus: he has the corrected pickguard) If you want to use threaded inserts instead, download my other model which has the correct hole location (thanks to trudslev) and is ready to accept M4 threaded inserts Update March 2: now includes holes for Amazon US 3-screw design. ---------- Thomann and Amazon ship one of the two hardware styles for the Harley Benton electric guitar. The main difference is how the metal plate attaches to the 3D-printed body. One is the original that Mikolas designed for. It has 5 mounting screws and a shallower hole for the pickup. The other has only 3 screws placed in a different location as well as a deeper pickup body, needing a deeper cavity. Amazon US and Thomann versions both have 3 screws but have holes in different locations. This modified file will fit all three versions. — Printing Print the first few layers and test-fit your hardware. We put more holes in this model than there are in swiss cheese, but there's still a chance it won't fit your variant.. In such case ping me or download the .step file and remix it to fit. — The US version was created in collaboration with Mike - Print , thanks!
