The statue of St John the Evangelist preserved in the torso was originally a part of the Calvary group, probably in the arch of triumph in the monastery church in Trebon. The expression of lyrical dreaminess of the statue and the finely modelled drapery refer to the panel paintings of the Master of the Trebon Altarpiece.
