About this 3D model

This relief depict, as the name would suggest, the death of St. Mary of Egypt, or Maria Aegyptiaca. She lived a sinful life, driven by irresistible lust, but eventually realised her impurity is stopping her from entering the church and living a decent life. After asking Virgin Mary for forgiveness, she crossed the Jordan and lived the rest of her life in the desert as a hermit.
