This is a 3D printed reproduction of the 1903 geological map created by the NSW Geological Survey. By using Hueforge to blend the filament colours together, this print creates a ‘depth illusion’ that makes you believe if is thicker than it really is. The print is only 2mm thick in reality. This is a 13 hour print on a 0.4 nozzle, at 0.04mm layer height. Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.04mm with a base layer of 0.16mm Filaments Used: PLA Siddament Black Transmission Distance: 0.2 PLA+ eSun Grey Transmission Distance: 1.4 PLA Overture Light Grey Transmission Distance: 1.6 PLA Sunlu Beige Transmission Distance: 8.2 PLA META Sunlu White Transmission Distance: 9.6 Swap Instructions: Start with Black At layer #9 (0.48mm) swap to Grey At layer #23 (1.04mm) swap to Light Grey At layer #34 (1.48mm) swap to Beige At layer #37 (1.6mm) swap to White for the rest.
