About this 3D model

This relief was probably conceived aorund 1500, at a time when Florentine sculptors showed a revival of interest in the work of Donatello. It is carved in a material called "Pietra serena" or serene stone, which was largely used in Florentine architecture, but was rather uncommon in sculpture as it is very hard and difficult to shape.
