About this 3D model
You can't see much when the door of the case is closed. With this LED ring I have remedied the situation. More light -> More visibility! The ring is held by the handle on the glass. To do this, it must be dismantled. The half moon of the holder is put through the handle and screwed back on. This takes less than 2 minutes. On picture 3 you see the original illumination, on picture 4 with the LED ring. When opening the upper glass, the ring is held by the handle. This was very important to me, because other models have to be removed completely. On picture 5 the superfluous plastic of the ring was removed, so that the connector and the LEDs fit better into the ring. The filament consumption is low, the ring weighs only 46g. I used PLA as the release layer for the PETG print. If you want to print in PLA, use PETG as the release layer. This way the ring can be removed cleanly from the support (upper interface distance = 0). Layer height = 0.2 Wall lines = 3 Fill density = 15% Grid Figure 10: Make sure to align your plate on the left side of the print bed. I put emphasis on the maximum print size. I ordered the ring from Temu dot com (€7.50), at Ali Express it costs at least double. The second to last two pictures show the ad on Temu, the last two show the box with the ring you will unpack. I am happy about a make / like! Keep it simple!
